Biography

Matthew works as one of our litigation associates, specializing in HoA, complex business litigation and general defense matters.  Throughout his career he has represented and advised over 120 individuals, business, and homeowners’ associations throughout the pre-litigation and litigation process. Matthew has a passion for litigation that began during his time at his undergrad alma mater Rhodes College, where he participated on Rhodes’s national mock trial team.  This passion continued during his time at the Norman Adrien Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, where he won numerous personal and team awards at competitions across the county.  His mock trial career culminated after his last year in law school when he was picked to represent Campbell Law at the Top Gun Trial Competition, the nation’s most prestigious and competitive mock trial competition.  When he’s not representing clients in court, Matthew enjoys spending time reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and spending time with his partner Allie and their two dogs Levi and Raven.
